THE RIGHT THING THE RIGHT WAY
If you were Boaz, how would you have thought about resolving the problem of another redeemer being ahead of you?
We said that Boaz's plan was holy, smart, and loving. How was it each of those things?
In saying no to redeeming Ruth, "What's His Face" thought he was preserving his name/line by not stepping into such a costly redemption ... but in fact, the opposite happened. How is this typical of what the gospel life calls us to and promises us?
Where is Christ calling you to do the right thing (a costly, gospel thing) the right way (entrusting the process to God)? Why is that hard? Where do you get the faith to go for it?
