Sundays are a perfect way to get started in the life of Seven Mile Road.
8:30 | GOSPEL FORMATION FOR 4-6 GRADE STUDENTS ON ZOOM
10:00 | WORSHIP GATHERING (IN-PERSON AND LIVESTREAMED)

We are the beautiful brick building with the four white pillars at the intersection of the Lynn Fells Parkway and Green Street in Melrose, one block up from Whole Foods. There is a big sign outside that says "Seven Mile Road Church." Click here for directions.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
We’d describe our Sunday gathering as gospel-centered, warm-and-vibrant, and straight-forward. By gospel-centered we mean we come with a sense reverence, expectation, and wonder as the living God encounters us through His gospel word. By warm-and-vibrant we mean we come excited to see each other and filled with all the energy you’d expect from souls that’ve been ransomed from sin and set free for eternal joy. By straight-forward we mean honest preaching and simple liturgy.
Our services run under 90 minutes long (but it feels like 5). We sing a mix of modern worship songs, remixed hymns, and some originals. There’s folks from zero to 100 (or so). Everyone is welcome to come and hear the gospel with us.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
Children ages 1-10 are cared for during the Word and Sacrament time of our service. We have four different sections of gospel formation happening with volunteer teachers teaching them through the “Show Me Jesus” curriculum. When you arrive you can check-in your child(ren) in our foyer, and then accompany them to their classroom before the sermon begins.
*COVID-19 UPDATE: Children are welcome in our Sunday gatherings, but are to remain with their parents for the entire service as there is no childcare at this time. (updated June 2020)
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
Our building was built in the 1920s, so they failed to bless us with a parking lot. But there is plenty of on-street parking directly in front of the church on Green, Linden, and Bellevue Streets. Or you can park on Main Street or the municipal lot on the Lynn Fells Parkway and walk 100 yards to the church.
WHAT IS THE BUILDING LIKE?
In 2011, Jesus blessed us with a beautiful church building. While a church is infinitely more than bricks-and-mortar, having a physical home helps in a ton of ways. We’ve spent the better part of 4 years revamping it, room-by-room, so that it would be useful to our mission. Our hope has been to make it one of the most beautiful facilities in Melrose.
